Pacific hut residence, prior to demolition in 2003
Shanley Street, Fairbanks, Alaska
Formerly the bedroom wing of a wood-framed home, this hut, like many, had no foundation. After many years of faithful service, the owners removed the wing in 2004, replacing it with a permanent structure.
